If you're looking to sync your calendars from other provider or channel with your Holidu listing, this article will walk you through the process step by step. It’s a 2 way connection, “import and export” actions. Once connected, it's a simple way to keep your availability up-to-date and avoid double bookings.

How to Import/Export an iCal Calendar

To import an iCal from another provider, you can follow the steps below. Please keep in mind that not all external providers might be compatible.

If they are compatible, you will need to provide your external iCal. Your external iCal is a URL that comes from another provider, which will synchronize your property’s calendar on the other provider with your property’s calendar on Holidu.

1. Log into your other platform and find the iCal sync options. Locate your iCal URL to export it.
2. On another window from your browser, log into your Holidu account and select your property.
3. On the left-hand side under “configuration”, scroll down and click on “iCal & Synchronization”.
4. Click on “configure”.
5. Select the name of the channel that you wish to synchronize within the list of options.

1. Step 1. Import: paste the URL of the external iCal from the other provider in the gray box in the first section.
2. Step 2. Export: copy Holidu’s iCal URL and paste it into the other provider iCal import section. Make sure to follow both steps and then click on the “save” button.

Note: On Booking.com you have to go to export options and tick the box for Booked and closed dates. This will make sure that both confirmed bookings, and also the manual blocks you placed on your Booking.com calendar are synced with your Holidu calendar.

• Refresh Your Calendar: If the calendar does not update immediately, click on the green button “refresh”; it could take a few minutes to update the blocks in your calendar.
