Where can I configure amenities?
If you're looking to update your amenities due to changes in your property configuration, please log in to your account and select the property you wish to modify and follow these simple steps:
- On the left side of your screen, under “Configuration”, scroll down and click on “Amenities”.
- You can activate or deactivate any of the amenities by selecting/unselecting them
- The changes are saved automatically in our system. Please, bear in mind it could take up to 24 hours to update in the platforms we distribute your listing.
- It is essential to inform us once you make these changes, so we can adapt the property description texts accordingly.
Important: It is extremely important that your configuration on Holidu (and thus your advertisements) is always up-to-date, as any error could incur booking cancellations or compensation claims by the guests or the platforms’ customer service.
- Always inform any future guest who would be affected negatively by changes on your configuration.
- Make sure to get a written confirmation that they are fine with it and still willing to come and stay at your property.
- If they refuse to come and stay with the new configuration, your guests would have to be granted a free cancellation, as you cannot offer what they booked.
- You may also decide to offer them a small discount to counterbalance the negatives and keep the booking
We would also like to remind you that any amenity configured must legally be available for free and at all times, unless a fee is configurable (e.g. high chair, baby cot, towels, bed linen). If the availability is pay only, it is an additional service you offer to the guests (not mandatory) which can thus not be configured as an amenity and will unfortunately not be filterable on the various platforms. It is important that you inform us about those amenities, so we can adapt the description texts and mention that accordingly.
