The lovliest 'violins' of Amalfi – Embedded in the green hills of the Amalfi Coast, only a few meters from Amalfi’s picturesque center lies the charming holiday home by the lovely name of Villino dei Violini (small house of violins).

Eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das strahlend blaue Mittelmeer und einen faszinierenden Blick auf Amalfi selbst genießen Sie von allen Zimmern sowie der Terrasse des Ferienhauses Villino dei Violini, das etwas abseits des Zentrums liegt und perfekt für all diejenigen ist, die das bunte, geschäftige Treiben der Amalfiküste erleben und gleichzeitig ein angenehmes, ruhiges Urlaubsambiente genießen möchten.

DER HIMMEL VOLLER GEIGEN
Sie erreichen das stilvoll eingerichtete Villino die Violini über eine Treppe, die durch den in Terrassen angelegten Garten führt. Im Erdgeschoss des Hauses befinden sich das sehr geräumige Wohn-/Esszimmer mit Küchenzeile sowie ein Bad.

Im 1. Stock finden Sie ein weiteres Bad, ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und das Herzstück des Hauses, nach dem es auch benannt ist: das Doppelzimmer, in dem die gewölbeartige Decke aufwendig bemalt und mit Geigen verziert ist. Wenn Sie des Morgens erwachen, blicken Sie durch ein kleines Fensterchen auf Amalfi oder durch das Fenster zu Ihrer Rechten auf die seichten Wellen des Meeres.

Vor der Haustür des Villino dei Violini befindet sich die möblierte Terrasse, die in den Sommermonaten von rankenden Bougainvillea beschattet wird. In dem ca. 500 m² großen, in mehreren Terrassen angelegten Garten werden Zitronen, Orangen und verschiedene Gemüsesorten angebaut, die Sie gerne für die Zubereitung Ihrer mediterranen Speisen verwenden dürfen.

Ein privater PARKPLATZ kann auf Anfrage und gegen Gebühr zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis wird Ihnen Ihr Gepäck bis vor die Haustür gebracht.

WEITERE INFORMATIONEN
Da der öffentliche Personennahverkehr an der Amalfiküste gut ausgebaut ist, ist ein Auto für Ihren Urlaub im Villino dei Violini nicht unbedingt erforderlich.
Das Zentrum von Amalfi mit seinen farbenprächtigen Häusern, den engen Gassen und dem stets geschäftigen Treiben der Bewohner befindet sich 1 km entfernt. Hier finden Sie die verschiedensten Geschäfte, Lebensmittelläden und Restaurants.
Eine ganzjährig geöffnete Bar finden Sie schon in 500 m Entfernung. Rund 600 m vom Villino entfernt befindet sich die ‚Spiaggia degli Artisti’ – eine kleine Bucht mit Sandstrand und flachem Einstieg ins Meer.

RUND UM AMALFI
An der Amalfiküste reihen sich zahlreiche, mal kleinere - mal größere, jedoch immer sehr beschauliche und charakteristische Städtchen aneinander. Zu den wohl bekanntesten, neben Amalfi, zählen Ravello und Positano, doch auch kleinere Orte wie Raito oder Conca dei Marini sind einen Ausflug oder eine Reise wert.

Wer dem Trubel an der Küste entgehen möchte, sollte auf einem der zahlreichen Wanderwege an der Amalfiküste wandeln und sich an Ruhe und Natur erfreuen. Unser Tipp: Wandeln Sie auf den Spuren der Götter - den ‚Sentiero degli Dei’ z.B. können Sie in Agerola beginnen und sich hier zuvor in den verschiedenen Lebensmittelläden mit ortstypischen Köstlichkeiten für die Picknickpause zwischendurch eindecken. Unterwegs eröffnet sich Ihnen ein einmaliges Panorama auf die Costiera Amalfitana und die Mittelmeerinsel Capri.

A breathtaking view of the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea and a fascinating view onto the town of Amalfi await at Villino dei Violini, both from its rooms and its terrace. The holiday home lies somewhat apart from the center and is a perfect accommodation, if you wish to experience the colorful hustle and bustle at the Amalfi Coast and, at the same time, enjoy a pleasant, quiet holiday atmosphere.

VIOLINS 'IN THE SKY'
By way of stairs up through the terraced garden you reach the tastefully furnished holiday home, which covers two floors.
The ground floor includes the spacious living-dining room with kitchen unit and a bathroom (shower/WC/bidet).

A half-bath, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom are located on the 1st floor. The double, which Villino dei Violini has been named for, with its elaborately painted vaulted ceiling adorned with violins might well be called the centerpiece of the house. After waking up in the morning, you can start into your day by looking out onto Amalfi from the small window and onto the shallow waves of the sea from the other window.
Furnishing of Villino dei Violini also includes: dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, air conditioning in the bedrooms, safe, SAT-TV.

There is a furnished terrace in front of the house, which is shaded by bougainvillea vines during the summer months. The ca. 500 m² garden is laid out in several terraced sections; lemons, oranges and various kinds of vegetables are grown there and you are welcome to use them for your Mediterranean dishes.

A private PARKING space is available on request and for an extra charge. If the private parking space is what you want, advance booking is strongly recommended. For a small extra charge your luggage is taken up to the house.

FURTHER INFORMATION
When vacationing at Villino dei Violini, you do not necessarily need a car to get around. The public transportation network on the Amalfi Coast is well organized and developed.
The center of Amalfi with its colorful houses, narrow alleys and inhabitants’ bustling activity as well as various shops, grocery stores and restaurants is 1 km off. A bar open year-round is found a mere 500 m from the holiday home.
About 600 m from Villino dei Violini lies Spiaggia degli Artisti, a sandy beach in a small bay and with shallow access of the sea.

TIPS AROUND AMALFI
They are almost like pearls on a string, the numerous towns along the Amalfi Coast – some smaller, some larger, but always of contemplative and characteristic nature. Amalfi, Ravello and Positano count among the best known, but smaller Raito and Conca dei Marini are also worth stopping by.

If you want to keep away from the bustling activity along the coast, follow one of the numerous hiking trails at the Amalfi Coast and enjoy the peace and quiet and nature. Our tip: Follow the ‘path of the gods’ between Agerola and Positano. Start onto famous Sentiero degli Dei at Agerola, for example, where at various grocery stores you can stock up on local delicacies for your picnic breaks. Along the trail, unique panoramic views await you: of the Costiera Amalfitana, of the Mediterranean Isle of Capri, ...
