Es ist wie Urlaub, als wir an einem sonnigen Septembertag das erste Mal die Casetta sulla Scogliera in San Marco di Agropoli betreten.
Am Horizont bilden das tiefblau schimmernde Meer und der azurblaue Himmel einen beeindruckenden Kontrast. Feigenkakteen und eine Vielzahl leuchtend bunt blühender Blumen rund um das weiß gestrichene Haus ergänzen diese spätsommerliche Farbkomposition. Das Rauschen der sanften Wellenbewegungen unterhalb der großen Meerblickterrasse wird mehr als einmal durch das ansteckende Lachen des Hauseigentümers unterbrochen. Es bleibt keine andere Wahl, als sich rundum wohlzufühlen.

SCHNÖRKELLOSES, GEPFLEGTES FERIENHAUS
Die Casetta sulla Scogliera ist ideal für 2 bis 4 Personen und bietet alles, was es für einen Urlaub mit der Familie an der Cilento-Küste braucht.
Eingangs betritt man das Ferienhaus über das lichtdurchflutete Wohn-/Esszimmer, von dem man Zugang zur großen, teils überdachten Terrasse hat. Vom Esstisch aus blicken Sie direkt auf den ca. 100 m entfernt stehenden, gut erhaltenen Küstenwachturm, der an die bewegte Geschichte Agropolis zwischen römischer Kleinstadt und byzantinischer Herrschaft erinnert.

Auch während Sie sich in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten Küchenbereich dem Kochen widmen, können Sie den Blick über das tiefblaue Meer schweifen lassen. Über den sich anschließenden Flur erreicht man die 2 nebeneinander liegenden Schlafzimmer (Doppelbett; 2 Einzelbetten) sowie das Bad.
Das Haus verfügt über Klimaanlage (gegen Gebühr) und kostenfreies WLAN.
Der Privatpark, in dem sich die Casetta befindet, ist vollständig umzäunt, Parkmöglichkeiten stehen direkt am Haus zur Verfügung.

DAS MEER ZU IHREN FÜSSEN
In der Casetta sulla Scogliera sind Sie umgeben von Meer. Die ca. 70 qm große, von einer kleinen Steinmauer umfasste Terrasse endet direkt über dem Tyrrhenischen Meer. Viel Platz bietet sich hier zum Sonnenbaden und Panorama genießen. In Sichtweite befindet sich u.a. die Amalfiküste.

An den Nachbarhäusern vorbei, gelangt man nach ca. 100 m zu einem kleinen Tor. Hinter wilden Agaven tut sich der Blick auf die feinen Sandstrände in Agropolis Norden auf. Ein kurzer Treppenweg führt hinab zum Meer und zur Sandbucht, die über einen Steinpfad gut erreichbar ist. Dahinter schließt sich ein längerer Standabschnitt an, der in den Sommermonaten teils bewirtschaftet wird.

AGROPOLI FEST IM BLICK
Auf einem Felsplateau thront die Altstadt von Agropoli, die von der Casetta sulla Scogliera ca. 3 km entfernt liegt. Auf dem Weg ins Zentrum liegen eine Vielzahl von Bars, Restaurants und Pizzerien. Einen Supermarkt finden Sie nach ca. 1 km.

Auch Kulturliebhaber werden das quirlige Agropoli lieben. Der Palazzo Civico delle Arti öffnet regelmäßig für Kunstausstellungen seine Pforten. Das Gelände des mittelalterlichen Kastells wird im Sommer gern als Kulisse für Theateraufführungen, Konzerte und mittelalterliche Märkte genutzt.

It feels like holidays, when, on a sunny day in September, we stop at Casetta sulla Scolgiera in San Marco di Agropoli for the first time.
On the horizon, the azure blue of the sky rises above the deep blue of the sea. Prickly pear cacti and a variety of colorful flowers growing around the white house round off this composition of late-summer colors. The sound of the waves moving gently below the large sea view terrace is more than once interrupted by the owner’s infectious laughter. You cannot but feel completely at ease.

WELL-TENDED HOLIDAY HOME DEVOID OF UNNECESSARY FRILLS
Casetta sulla Scogliera is ideal for 2 to 4 persons and offers whatever you need for family holidays at the Cilento coast.
Upon entering, you find yourself in the light flooded kitchen-dining-living room, which opens onto the large, partly roofed terrace.
From the dining area with well-appointed kitchen unit (incl. incl. gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, toaster, electric kettle) you can look out towards the well-preserved coastal watch tower ca. 100 m off, a reminder of Agropoli’s eventful past between Roman town and Byzantine rule.

From the living area with sofa and TV a door opens into a hallway. It takes you to the 2 bedrooms (double bed; twin beds), which are located next to each other, as well as to the bathroom (shower/WC/bidet; hair dryer, washing machine).
The holiday home features air conditioning (extra charge) and free WiFi. The private park it is located in is completely fenced, parking is available at the house.

THE SEA AT YOUR FEET
At Casetta sulla Scogliera, you are 'surrounded' by the sea. The ca. 70 m² terrace is enclosed by a small stone wall, 'ends' right above the Tyrrhenian Sea and offers a lot of space for relaxing in the shade, sunbathing and enjoying the panorama. The Amalfi Coast, amongst others, is within eyeshot.

When you pass by the neighboring houses and after about 100 m, you arrive at a small gate. Behind wild agaves, a view of the fine sandy beaches in the northern part of Agropoli opens up before you. A short stepped path runs down to the sea and to the sandy bay, which is easily reached by way of a stone path. The longer section of beach which follows is partly with service during the summer months.

AGROPOLI ALWAYS IN SIGHT
The Old Town of Agropoli, which sits enthroned on a promontory, is about 3 km from Casetta sulla Scogliera. On your way to the center, you pass a large number of bars, restaurants and pizzerias. There’s a supermarket about 1 km from the accommodation.

If you love culture, you are sure to love lively Agropoli. Palazzo Civico delle Arti regularly opens its doors to art exhibitions. In summer, the premises of the medieval castle are a popular setting for theater performances, concerts and medieval markets.
